Established in 1990 as a Sole Proprietor, Murphy’s Transport Services has evolved into a Limited Company, operating with bespoke integrated Traffic and Accounts software allowing us to accurately and speedily bring together

We broker Traffic by air, sea or rail but the main thrust of our business is road haulage within (to and from any part of) the British Isles. We also arrange haulage to and from Western Europe as required in offering a total package to our customers.

Our experienced, qualified professionals act as our Customers’ Traffic Office arranging all transport requirements - from single packages or pallets, through groupage and full loads to abnormal movements

Our Traffic Software helps ensure that, from our regularly checked pre-screened list of subcontractors, we use only those who fully meet all the required criteria for each individual job in terms of insurance, Waste Registration etc.

As a member of the Road Haulage Association (member no. 007867-000), all goods are carried under RHA Conditions of Carriage 2009 which limit our insurable liability to £1,300 per tonne of actual weight - the industry standard.
